Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mike Ferrer has had a passion for Dance/House Music since first attending legendary New York City nightclubs in his teens during the late 80s. The music played by DJs at iconic spots like The Funhouse, Danceteria, The Underground, Palladium, and Studio 54 inspired him to start collecting records and building his craft. Over the years, Mike has played diverse venues ranging from block parties and corporate events to residencies at Jekyll & Hyde club.

Currently, Mike remains a staple of the scene, performing throughout the summer at Pier 35, Coney Island Boardwalk and Central Park. His approach to playing in the Central Park Skate Circle is rooted in the philosophy that the skaters are an extension of the music.
