🏆 How to Run for Office
To put your name on the ballot, complete the following requirements by October 4th:
- Pay Membership Dues ($50)
- Ensure your membership is current by clicking here: Become a CPDSA Member.
- Submit Candidate Materials
- Access the election submission page here: Submission Form
Your submission must include:
- Written Candidate Statement:
- Officer Positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer): 100–115 words introducing yourself and highlighting why you’re suited for the role.
- Non-Officer Board Members: ~25 words expressing your interest and qualifications.
- Photo Portrait:
- A sharp, recent photo (taken within the past year).
- Face fully visible—no sunglasses so voters can recognize you!
- ⚠️ Important: Do not submit a photo of yourself skating. Your portrait must clearly identify your face, similar to a photo ID.
- Contact Information: Email address, cell phone number, and social media handles.
